Customer Relationship Management (CRM) Implementations

Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems have evolved dramatically over the last decade. It has become increasingly important for these applications to become easier to use while also providing integration to everyday business productivity software, such as Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word and Microsoft Office SharePoint Server, among others. These CRM software applications also require flexibility so they can be configured to address the unique needs of the users and the businesses they support, requiring an application that is easy to modify and configure. Microsoft has continually delivered on these requirements with their Microsoft Dynamics CRM software application.
In the traditional sense, CRM software supports the business processes of sales, marketing and customer service. However, these business functions have been extended to include the concept of xRM, which has been widely adopted as a new type of platform. xRM software refers to a relationship management application that extends beyond just the customers and may support information, transactions and processes with any entity within the company including vendors, employees, trading partners, business partners or any other entities.
