Feature of the Day Program
In addition to educating everyone on new features, the Feature of the Day is also meant to evangelize the tremendous features and functionality available in the Microsoft Dynamics GP product.
On March 9, Microsoft formally announced the release of Microsoft Dynamics GP 2016, which is expected to be generally available worldwide on May 1, 2016.
Microsoft Dynamics GP 2016 includes the new and modern HTML5 client that works across devices like iPads and Android, the new Odata connections for PowerBI, the All In One document viewer, and many more features requested by the GP community.
Microsoft Dynamics GP versions 2013 and 2015 include an enhancement to the 1099 reporting process which allows you to print the 1096 form. However, when attempting to print the form, users may run into the following error message:
Fortunately, there’s an easy fix for this. Go to the Security Task Setup then select a Task ID. Next, select Product as Microsoft Dynamics GP, select Type as Reports, and select Series as Purchasing. In the List window, check the box next to “1096 Form” then click Save and you’re all set to print the 1096!
